John Riley - PhD, FIQA and was number three on the UK Register of Lead Assessors when it was first produced in 1985, and has since participated in or led several hundred audits for a major UK and international Registrar. Originally an electrical engineer, he spent many years with Shell UK before becoming a quality consultant in 1973. John has worked with many different standards including the NATO 'AQAP' series, Mil-Q-9858, BS 5750, and then after 1987, ISO 9000. His special areas of expertise encompass chemical and petrochemical industries, oil and gas exploration and production, road transport and freight forwarding, railways and steel making as well as general engineering. Most recently he consulted with Sealand, Inc. in the UK and Europe, resulting in 11 successful certifications in early 1993. John also serves as an Assessor for the United Kingdom National Accreditation Council for Certification Bodies.
Jack Smith - started his career with Western Electric. He spent some years in the U.S. Army, then returned to Western Electric to resume his civilian career. Jack has many years of experience developing, implementing and managing quality control and quality assurance systems. Prior to joining The Victoria Group he was a Member of Technical Staff in the ISO 9000 Consulting and Training Organization within AT&T Global Quality Systems where he was responsible for developing and providing quality training and consulting services for internal and external clients in industries ranging from thin-film electronic devices to paper mills. His services covered all aspects from design through manufacturing, installation and service activities in the U.S. and abroad. Jack was also responsible for the development and presentation of courses on ISO 9000 implementation and audit practices. During his last year with AT&T, Jack developed and taught ISO 14001 introductory classes. He was an instructor at IUPUI School of Technology for seven years where he taught courses on manufacturing management and quality. Jack is a member of ASQC, a Certified Lead Auditor and a Registered PE in the State of Indiana.
Jamie Stratton - has over a decade of experience in the quality assurance field, most recently achieving certification to ISO 9001 and QS-9000 for a major automotive component supplier in Kentucky. Jamie specializes in manufacturing and process control, process capability and advanced quality planning procedures. Jamie is a Lead Auditor and a RAB Certified Quality Systems Lead Auditor.
John Inglis - has over 12 years of experience in quality management in a variety of manufacturing environments. Working as an Electronics and Electrical Engineer with Racal M.E.S.L. for 9 years, John developed a strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality assurance in the defense industry. As a Senior Product Assurance Engineer with Honeywell Control Systems, he was responsible for many quality projects in their High Technology Unit, including certification to ISO 9002. After joining Apollo Computer (UK) in 1985, he established key start-up programs and spearheaded their successful certification to ISO 9002 in 1988. After Hewlett Packard's acquisition of Apollo, he moved to Exeter, NH to assume dual responsibility for site regulatory matters and quality programs. The Exeter Workstation plant was the first registered company in New Hampshire and Hewlett Packard's first division in North America to be certified to ISO 9002. John is a Certificated Lead Auditor.

Taz Daughtrey is Founding Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly journal from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He has contributed chapters to 3 books, has published numerous technical papers and has given presentations at conferences throughout North America and Europe. Taz has developed courses including "Software Quality Assessment Improvement," "Software Metrics" and "ISO 9000 for Software Suppliers."
Taz also came to Victoria Group Inc. with a wide experience base in actual software deployment as Director of Quality for Illuminis (formerly Multimedia Medical Systems), senior quality engineer at the BWXT Naval Nuclear Fuel Division and as a supervisor of software services at B&W Space and Defense Systems. His various responsibilities included development, deployment and training. He also evaluates software systems and quality assurance procedures for ensuring integrity of their design.
Taz is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and senior membe of the ASQ. He earned his B.S. degree in Physics and a M.Ed. in Science Education from the University of Virginia.
